WRFC has over 600 members split approx. 400 Youth players aged from U-6 to U-19 and 200 Senior Players and Non-players. All Youth membership is Family Membership and includes parents and siblings.

WRFC is approved as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) giving opportunities to increase income by tax reliefs on sponsorship donations and relief from Business Rates and Corporation Tax. WRFC continues to trade as a VAT registered Limited Company.

In addition to weekly games each Saturday and Sunday from September to April with Youth training each Sunday, we hold regional tournaments and festivals in conjunction with Essex RFU. The numbers of visitors for these events can be high.

The Club is self financing raising income from subscriptions, fund raising, sponsorship and the Clubhouse. We are very grateful to the local and national businesses supporting sport in the community and rugby in particular via  WRFC.

MATCH LUNCH SPONSORSHIP

Before every home League match we hold a three course lunch for  non-players and our Youth teams. Ladies welcome. A donation of £500 to include meals for sponsor and guests.

The site gets over 750 hits per week during the season. Your logo displayed with link to your own site. Sponsor a team, your logo on the Team Fixtures and Results page.

U-13 TOURNAMENT & LEAGUE MATCH PROGRAMMES

League Lunch: prepared for all 1st XV home league games during the season. High quality colour programme plus opportunities to sponsor the Match, see above.

Under 13 Tournament: teams from all over Essex, Eastern Counties and further afield at our Clubhouse for the U-13 tournament on Sunday, 12th October 2008. Over 1,000 visitors at the Clubhouse, high quality colour programme on sale.

PITCHBOARDS

In prominent display, 24/7 all year for Youth and Senior matches, tournaments and festivals and to every visitor to the Clubhouse.

CLUBHOUSE & BAR

If you are holding business seminars, presentations, Christmas Parties etc, you can hire either bar in the Clubhouse with or without catering and with or without the bar. Easy parking. Something a bit different, see ‘Having a Party?’ on CLUB page.

We are very flexible on amounts of donations and are happy to offer specific packages if you wish.

PAYMENT
If you are a business, the above donations are shown net VAT. We will issue an invoice showing VAT in addition, enabling you to reclaim the VAT element.

If you are a private individual, no VAT is applicable to your donation. We will issue documentation to enable WRFC to reclaim basic rate tax under the CASC regime. If you are a higher rate tax payer, you will be able to reclaim higher rate tax relief via your tax assessment.
