Our Chairman Pete Jones has decided it’s time to step down from his role at the club. We all thank him for the time and hard work he’s put in over the years as a volunteer with the sole intention of managing the wellbeing and future of Westcliff RFC. The Exec Conmittee will fulfil his role in the interim pending a well thought through decision on how to go forward this season and an announcement will be made in due course.
"After nearly 10 years in total as Chairman, I feel I’ve reached the point where it’s time for someone else to take the reins. I’ve given the role everything I could and am proud of my contribution. Now feels like the right time for new ideas and a fresh perspective and with the fantastic committee , I know that Westcliff Rugby Club is in good hands.
