Westcliff RFC boast one of, if not the largest, youth sections in the county. Each of our youth teams between U13's - U17/18's Colts run at least two competitive sides and compete in both friendly games with other county and out of county teams. They also play competitively in Essex leagues, Essex waterfall and knockout cups and also in the National cup at Colts level.
Each team is coached by a number of volunteers who are DBS checked and who have undergone a number of RFU coaching courses to varying levels. The ethos in the youth is to ensure everyone plays and enjoys their time at the club whilst building life long friendships and developing their skills to be successful players in our senior set up for years to come.

Tim started playing for WRFC in 1974 and played through both the mini and youth sections, earning Essex and Eastern Counties honours at U19 and U21 level. Tim went on to play senior rugby for 15 years and throughout that time, played for the 1st XV and captained the 2nd and 3rd XV. He is the current manager of the U17's.
